At UFC Vegas 18, the main event will see Alistair Overeem take on Alexander Volkov in the heavyweight division. The winner of the fight will most likely have a part to play in who fights next for the title in the heavyweight division. However, the rest of the card is stacked with some incredibly interesting fights as well.

In the prelims, Seung Woo Choi takes on Youssef Zalal in a featherweight bout. Both fighters are currently unranked at 145-pounds, and the fight will be a good opportunity for both men to take a step forward in the rankings.

Ahead of the fight, we inspect both fighters involved, their strengths and weaknesses, and the possible route to victory for both fighters.

Seung Woo Choi made his UFC debut in 2019. He succumbed to a unanimous decision loss against Movsar Evloev. After succumbing to another loss against Gavin Tucker, ‘Sting’ bounced back with an impressive win against Suman Mokhtarian in December 2019.

The Moroccan Devil’ has secured 50% of his wins and is extremely lethal on the ground. ‘Sting’ has put together a 1-2 UFC record. He is a dangerous striker and has averaged 3.33 significant strikes per minute in his UFC career while absorbing just 2.77 in return. Against ‘The Moroccan Devil’ he will have to rely on his 66% takedown defense to ensure that the fight stays on the feet. If he is taken to the ground, it will be difficult for him to come out on top.
