Giga Chikadze vs Cub Swanson will be an exciting featherweight bout at UFC Vegas 25

Cub Swanson is an 11-year UFC veteran. During his career with the UFC, Swanson has had a lot of ups and downs and has come close to fighting for the title on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, he has fallen short every time. Swanson, who is currently on a two-fight win streak, will aim to extend that this weekend.

Giga Chikadze made his debut on Dana White’s Contender Series, where he succumbed to a loss against Austin Springer. He then returned to the promotion in September 2019. He is currently on a five-fight win streak and is yet to taste defeat in his second stint with the promotion.

Killer’ is known for being a ferocious striker and has secured 44% of his wins via T/KO. Over the course of his UFC career, he has landed an impressive 4.16 significant strikes per minute and has absorbed just 3.28 in return. In the grappling department, he has averaged 1.17 takedowns per 15 minutes and 0.51 submissions in the same time frame.

Meanwhile, ‘Ninja’ has secured 58% of his wins via T/KO. He has landed an impressive 3.45 significant strikes per minute and has absorbed just 2.65 in return. Chikadze will also have a four-inch reach advantage that he can use to his advantage against ‘Killer’ Swanson.

If Chikadze can keep the fight standing, he will most likely get his hands raised as he is the superior striker between the two men.
