UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Dillashaw is all set to be one of the best UFC events of the year. Fans would be eager to see how the Sandhagen vs Dillashaw fight pans out. Apart from that, there are other good fights happening on the preliminary card as well. One such fight is a flyweight bout between Sijara Eubanks and Elise Reed.

‘SarJ’ had a memorable TUF 26 run as a flyweight and even more comprehensive were her first two wins at 125lbs. She then found issues with the weight cut and moved up to bantamweight. Now, as she is currently on a two-fight skid, she has opted to move back to 125.

She lost to Ketlen Vieira at UFC 253: Adesanya vs Costa via unanimous decision and then suffered another unanimous decision loss against Pannie Kianzad at UFC Fight Night 183. Her record stands at 6-6 and she knows another loss here will lead to her position in the promotion being in jeopardy. She has 2 T(KO) and 4 decision wins.

Reed had a rather lengthy amateur career before she turned pro in 2018. On Saturday, she will feature in her first fight for the UFC. Till now, she is undefeated in 4 professional matches, holding 2 T(KO) and 2 decision wins. She will look to make an impact in her debut match.

Sijara Eubanks vs Elise Reed- Analysis

If we compare their physical stats, Eubanks stands at 5 feet 4″ tall and has a 67″ reach. Reed meanwhile, stands at 5 feet 3″ and has a 4″ lesser reach than Eubanks. Hence, it’s advantage ‘SarJ.’

After rather having a forgetful stay at bantamweight, Sijara returns to flyweight. However, it may not soothe her woes completely. This is because she lacks a proper ground game to deal with the best fighters of the division and her striking doesn’t do justice to her punching game.

All being said, she will still walk in as the favorite against Reed who, despite being an offensive striker, has a shaky takedown defense. Eubanks can exploit this weakness if she wants to snap her losing streak.
