Marvin Vettori made history tonight. He became the first Italian-born fighter to headline a main event fight under the promotion. Hermansson had two opponents pull out of the fight before he was able to secure a fight this weekend against ‘The Italian Dream’.

Vettori deserves a ton of credit for stepping in on short notice and taking on a dangerous adversary in Jack Hermansson for five rounds.
‘The Italian Dream‘ secured an impressive unanimous decision win over five hard-fought rounds. The fight was definitely a contender for Fight Of the Night. Both men garnered a lot of praise from the MMA community for the valiant display.

Vettori has now made sure that he will be in the top 5 of the division when the revised rankings come out. He will become the first Italian to be in the top 5 of a division in the UFC.
