The main event at UFC Vegas 28 saw a mammoth clash between two of the best at heavyweight in the UFC. Both Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Augusto Sakai, who are renowned for having devastating knockout power, have secured most of their wins via T/KO.

Ahead of the fight, ‘Bigi Boy’ and Sakai sat at #6 and #9 respectively in the heavyweight division. A positive result for either fighter would have helped them take a massive leap forward in a division that is on fire right now. Rozenstruik made this huge leap forward.

The fight started out at a relatively slow pace as both men initially felt each other out. However, as the bout progressed, ‘Bigi Boy’ started landing more of his offense. Towards the end of round one, Rozenstruik clipped Sakai with a left hook as he was circling away from him. This immediately dropped Sakai to the floor, and the referee stepped in after ‘Bigi Boy‘ landed a few unanswered strikes.
