Rob Font finishes Marlon Moraes in round one

Font did not have the best possible start to the fight, Moraes used his wrestling to good effect. ‘Magic’ managed to secure two out of three attempted takedowns early on in the fight.

However, once Font was able to get back on his feet, he was in a league of his own. The beginning of the end came when Font landed an inch-perfect jab right on Moraes’ chin. The jab wobbled the Brazilian who started back peddling.

Sensing that his opponent was hurt, and a finish was in sight, Font rushed forward and applied pressure. He landed a perfectly timed uppercut that dropped Moraes to the floor, and from there, Font started piling on the damage until the referee had seen enough.
