UFC heavyweight fighter Tai Tuivasa defeated his rival Greg Hardy via T(KO) on the main card of UFC 264. The Australian didn’t break a sweat as he made quick work of ‘Prince of War’ inside round one to continue his march towards the upper echelons of the heavyweight division.

As customary, ‘Bam Bam’ celebrated the win in his trademark style by drinking alcohol from a shoe. The UFC fighters engage in some antics to look different from others, like inking different tattoos and sporting different hairstyles.

But celebrating by drinking alcohol from the shoe could be the strangest thing anyone could even imagine. ‘Bam Bam’ performed his trademark shoey celebration many times after his win at UFC 264.

First, he climbed and sat over the cage, took a shoe, and drank beer from it. He then made his way backstage. During his walk towards the backstage area, ‘Bam Bam’ picked up a fan’s shoe and drank the alcohol from it. The commentators claimed that the shoe was filled with Dustin Poirier’s hot sauce in the mix.

Coming back to Tuivasa, he has performed this celebration on many occasions before this. He did this after his win over Stefan Struve at UFC 254, when he snapped his three-fight losing streak. The best part is that he even doesn’t care about where the drinks come from.

When Ariel Helwani shared a bizarre fact about ‘Bam Bam’

Bam Bam‘ had appeared for a presser after his win over Andrei Arlovski at UFC 225. Famous MMA reporter Ariel Helwani had a strange incident with the heavyweight fighter. He shared this via his Twitter handle.

Helwani wrote, “Tuivasa just asked me for my shoe to do a shoey. I said I didn’t have alcohol. He said I can piss in it. I asked if he’s ever had that, he said hell yeah. I did not give him my shoe.”

Keeping aside his bizarre celebration, Tuivasa has now picked up three consecutive wins. Hence, it will be interesting to see where he goes from his UFC 264 win.
