Jorge Masvidal grew up in a rough part of Miami and was surrounded by violence and substance abuse, among other things, from an early age.
However, Masvidal was never involved in any of that and was able to steer clear of the pitfalls of such an environment. ‘Gamebred’, however, remains coy about his time in jail. What is next for Jorge Masvidal?
‘Gamebred’ Jorge Masvidal is currently on a two-fight skid. Both losses have come against the current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. The first fight was a lopsided, unanimous decision loss. The second encounter ended violently in the second round.

Following the loss, Masvidal has made it clear that he intends on fighting his way back to another title shot. He plans on doing that by taking on the toughest potential challenge available to him. A lot of names have been thrown around, with the likes of Leon Edwards and Nate Diaz being the frontrunners.

A Masvidal fight against Diaz would be an extremely exciting fight for the fans as well as for the promotion. However, for that to even be a possibility, Nick Diaz has to get past ‘Ruthless’ Robbie Lawler.
