All the fighters in the UFC get started with one goal in mind. i.e. To become the undisputed champion in their respective weight categories. While this is the main aim for every fighter, other perks such as rankings on the pound-for-pound list among other things act as added motivation.

With the popularity of the new UFC video game by EA, fighters often keep an eye out for their stats and rankings on the game, as a higher-ranking will be another feather in their caps. In a nice gesture for the fighters, the people responsible for the video game have introduced a five-star system.

They have awarded a very select group of fighters the five stars which comes along with a chain and a pendant with the five stars adorning it. Daniel Cormier happens to be the latest five-star athlete in the game. Khabib Nurmagomedov was able to share this moment with his teammate as he presented him with the award.

DC’ joins the likes of Israel Adesanya, Max Holloway, Jon Jones, Amanda Nunes, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Valentina Shevchenko, and Kamaru Usman as the only five-star athletes in the game.
