Khabib Nurmagomedov has cemented his place among the greatest fighters to have ever stepped in the octagon. ‘The Eagle’ has been fighting and training since a very young age under the tutelage of this father, Abdulmanap.

Khabib dominated everyone put in front of him and maintained an impressive career record of 29-0. After his most recent fight, ‘The Eagle’ announced his retirement and has since been spending time pursuing other activities.

The Dagestani native’s ventures outside the octagon include Eagle FC, an MMA promotion that he recently bought and renamed Eagle FC. He hopes that his promotion will be a feeder to the UFC. Furthermore, the former champion has also started multiple businesses, which includes everything from telecom to protein bars. 

Nurmagomedov is without a doubt one of the biggest athletes in the world. Therefore, it is no surprise that Khabib is treated like royalty. In Abu Dhabi and UAE, Khabib is often seen around the company of the Royal family.

‘The Eagle’ is currently in the Middle East to support a friend who will compete on Fight Island soon. During his stay there, Khabib was involved in a game of soccer with the likes of Clarence Seedorf. A clip shows Khabib knocking the ball past his opponent and using his speed to beat the man. The former champion is a big fan of the game and is an ardent supporter of the Spanish soccer club Real Madrid.

How will the meeting between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dana White go down?

It is no secret that Dana White wants Khabib to fight again. ‘The Eagle’ is arguably one of the biggest stars in the UFC, and his return will be excellent news for the business. 

White will be meeting Khabib sometime this month to try to convince him to return to the sport for one last fight to make it 30-0. Whether or not Dana White is able to convince his remains to be seen.
