

Daniel Cormier is one of the most accomplished fighters in the UFC. ‘DC’ as he is affectionately known transitioned from freestyle wrestling to MMA. Cormier made the Olympic team twice; once as the captain. Unfortunately, the closest he came to a podium place was fourth in Athens 2004.
Using his wrestling as a base, Cormier established himself as one of the finest MMA fighters in the world. His accomplishments inside the octagon are second to none. He remains one of the best fighters to have ever step foot into the octagon.
Cormier is a student of the game. He loves to give back and help up-and-coming athletes with all the knowledge he has amassed over the years. He is a diligent teammate and also the coach for a local wrestling team.

The former champion took to Twitter recently to welcome a young talent to the company that manages him. ‘DC’ said, “Hey everyone join me in welcoming my man @ceron120kg to the @zinkinsportsmanagement family. Ceron Francisco is a heavyweight wrestler who is a two-time all American. Before the pandemic hit, Francisco was training at the Olympic training center in New York aiming to make the Olympic team for 2020.

Daniel Cormier can be the perfect mentor
Daniel Cormier is an excellent role model for individuals aspiring to become martial artists. He has always carried himself with the utmost professionalism and has delivered time and time again inside the cage. He has also managed to keep himself out of trouble.

Cormier has been in the same shoes as Ceron. If Francisco was to transition to MMA after his wrestling career, as a mentor, it does not get any better than Daniel Cormier.
Also, given the praise the former two-division world champion has showered on Ceron, MMA fans will be hoping to see him in an octagon sooner rather than later.
