Anthony Armand Ferguson Padilla, more commonly known as Tony Ferguson, is a popular UFC fighter who competes in the Lightweight division. He is a former interim UFC Lightweight champion.

Ferguson has had training in boxing and Jiu Jitsu. Recently, he posted a montage style video of him training and fighting.

This post is another in the series of tweets made to hype up Tony Ferguson’s return to the UFC.

El Cucuy has not competed in the UFC since he lost to Charles Oliveira at the co-main-event of UFC 256. This loss was Ferguson’s second loss in a row. Earlier, he had lost the main event fight at UFC 249 to Justin Gaethje.

When will Tony Ferguson Return?

Ferguson is all set to return to the Octagon in 2021. The former interim champ is all set to face Beneil Dariush at UFC 262 on May 16.

Many of Ferguson’s fans are waiting for him to return to the Octagon, and El Cucuy is leaving no stone unturned in maintaining the hype.

Recently Ferguson took to twitter and postage a video montage of himself fighting and training. With the video he wrote, “Wing Wednesday, I’m very well trained. Now time to to put it together, MoarWork, Have a great night MiGente, Remember to stretch – Champ.”

Ferguson is at a very interesting stage in his career. Before he lost to Gaethje, Ferguson was on a roll and had won 12 of his previous matches. He had fought and won against many great opponents like Kevin Lee and Anthony Pettis.

Ferguson is one of the greatest ever UFC fighters, although he will face a really tough challenge from Dariush, who has won six consecutive bouts.

The video put up by Ferguson shows him training and fighting, which gives his fans belief that he would return strongly. Ferguson has been training with legendary coach Freddie Roach, and recently he was seen training with Georges St Pierre.

Ferguson is one of the most popular and successful fighters for the UFC, and his return to the Octagon would surely excite his fans and all MMA fans around the globe.
