Faber is a former WEC featherweight champion and one of the biggest names in the UFC during the 2010s. Though he did fight for the title a few times, Urijah had never been able to achieve his ultimate goal in the sport.
‘The California Kid’ announced his retirement in 2016 after a win over fellow veteran Brad Pickett. He then returned to the sport and secured an impressive knockout win over Ricky Simon before succumbing to a brutal KO loss against the current champion Petr Yan at UFC 245.
