‘D-Rod’ made his UFC debut against Tim Means in February 2020. He secured a submission win in his first fight under the promotion. Since then he has fought twice in the UFC against Gabriel Green and Dwight Grant and won both the fights. He is currently 3-0 in the UFC. A win over Nicolas Dalby will move him to 4-0 for the year 2020.

‘Lokomotivo’ made his UFC debut in 2015 with a win over Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos. His next fight in the UFC was a draw against Darren Till followed by losses to Zak Cummings and Peter Sobotta.  The UFC then released him. He returned to the promotion in September 2019 with a win over Alex Oliveira and is 1-1-0 in his second run.

Going into the fight, Dalby will have a 0.5-inch reach advantage over his opponent. ‘Lokomotivo’  has secured 44% of his victories via decision. He is a threat on the feet and has landed an impressive 3.27 significant strikes per minute. 

However, in Daniel Rodriguez, he faces someone who has secured 54% of his wins via T/KO. ‘D-Rod’ lands a mind-boggling 9.48 significant strikes per minute. However, he has also absorbed a concerning 11.14 significant strikes.

Rodriguez has secured four wins in his career via submission and averages 0.64 takedowns per 15 minutes and 0.64 submission attempts in the same time frame.
