‘Lokomotivo’ made his UFC debut in 2015 with a win over Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos. His next fight in the UFC was a draw against Darren Till followed by losses to Zak Cummings and Peter Sobotta. The UFC then released him. He returned to the promotion in September 2019 with a win over Alex Oliveira and is 1-1-0 in his second run.
