It’s almost time for UFC ‘s big return. Dana White has once again pulled off what the others considered impossible.

Dana White faced a lot of ups and downs, majorly downs, concerning UFC 249. Coronavirus played spoilsport in all fields and washed out all forms of live sports. Dana White defying all odds managed to make arrangements to pull off UFC 249. But at the very last minute, he was forced to pull the plug on it.

He agreed to pull the plug due to special requests from his partners at Disney and ESPN. He obliged. But this time around he isn’t leaving it up to them. He very clearly said the UFC won’t sit around and wait for a green signal, and that’s exactly what he’s doing on the 9th of May.

On the 9th of May, UFC will be back on the road. Dana White has a location, he’s got his fighters and most importantly he has the main event ready to go. No one’s backing out this time. And we couldn’t be more excited!

UFC’s plan to resume on the 9th is the sweetest news anyone’s heard in weeks. Everyone on social media very clearly can’t contain their excitement. Even Mike Bohn Tweeted out.

His Tweet read, “ESPN has offered a statement on the UFC’s plan to resume events beginning May 9: “Sports play an important role in people’s lives and can bring moments of escape in challenging times. We look forward to bringing UFC to fans again.”
