The College World Series is the biggest baseball competition at the college level. It has seen some intense matchups as the best players at the college level go head to head. But during these games, there have also been some bizarre incidents. Most recently, a video of an unbelievable incident from last year’s College World Series resurfaced.

Camera-destroying foul hit surprises baseball fans a year later

Last year, during the College World Series, the University of Texas faced off against Texas A&M. The latter won the series and went ahead in the tournament. But during one of the games, a bizarre incident took place. Texas’ Mitchell Daly hit a foul ball that surged behind and smashed a camera. It was a truly unbelievable incident that has fans speechless even today.

Most recently, SportsCenter shared a video of the incident on Instagram, leaving baseball fans baffled.

In the caption, SportsCenter said, “Foul ball went straight into the camera 😳”. It was a truly one-in-a-million moment as the camera that was damaged even caught footage of the ball hurtling toward it. Even the commentators were left baffled by the moment.

The reactions to the video are mixed. Some fans were left baffled by how the ball hit the camera. They said, “Money shot, “Imagine watching that live 😂”, and “If chances are high why is this the first time we seeing this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 if not the first it ain’t happen in YEARS.”

Other fans believed that the chances of this happening are high. They said, “What are the chances… Obviously pretty damn good 😂😂”, “Pretty high actually seeing as it’s not behind a net”, and “Pretty good the chances are pretty good”.

This was a bizarre moment from last year’s tournament as Texas lost to Texas A&M. Although the series ended on the losing side for the Longhorns, this is a definite highlight moment. Another college player suffered an equally bizarre moment that led to him getting out.

The Oregon Ducks made a sensational comeback in a recent game

The 2023 NCAA baseball Tournament is currently going on and the Oregon Ducks recently had a historic performance. They made a comeback from 8-0 down to win a game against Oral Roberts. It was the first time that it had been done in Super Regional’s history. But the Ducks were unable to close out the series in the second game and lost.

They will now look to win the third game and return to the College World Series for the first time since 1954.
