Premier League side Liverpool have reportedly agreed terms with Barcelona defender Martin Montoya ahead of a possible move from the Spanish giants in the summer transfer window.

The Reds are monitoring several different right backs as Glen Johnson has not been offered a contract extension but Montoya is said to be one of Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers’ top targets.

The 24-year-old has failed to prove himself enough to be a regular in the Barcelona starting line-up and according to reports in Spain, he has already agreed personal terms with the Reds as he wants to test himself away from La Liga.
