Generally, when a person speaks about tennis, there are a few names that come to mind. Without a doubt, the superstar from Switzerland, Roger Federer, happens to be on that list. Ever since we’ve first seen Roger hold a tennis racket in his hands, it has been the ‘Wilson Wand’.

All through his career, Federer has been associated with various brands and is considered one of the greatest marketable athletes. The association he shares with Wilson goes beyond all. Recently, the Swiss spoke of the factors that made him believe in Wilson.

Federer revealed, “I’d say that Wilson is very strong and grassroots you know. As a junior you’re not really aware of it, all I remember is that a lot of my friends all played Wilson. My heroes played Wilson as in Sampras and Edberg and that’s the racket I wanted to play with, you know, a Wilson racket.”
