Living with a stepmother who has over the years garnered the title of ‘The Wicked Witch of the South’ for her choices is anything but easy. Dale Earnhardt got married thrice in his life, and his relationship with his last wife, Teresa, lasted a long time before he passed away. Despite getting divorced from his second wife, Dale Jr, and Kelly’s mother Brenda Gee, Earnhardt Sr., raised the two children after a fire.
However, the experience of living with Teresa and Earnhardt’s new family wasn’t that exciting for either Earnhardt Jr or his sister, Kelly. It seemed as though the energy levels of the house weren’t favorable for the two siblings, despite the presence of their father. The siblings often felt overshadowed and struggled to find their place in a household where they didn’t feel entirely welcome or understood.
