Monaco are looking to balance their record and are relishing the chance to sell some of their highest earning players and Jao Moutinho is one of them.
Moutinho, who is currently being paid £110k-a-week is ready to be sold to the club which offers them a £14m deal and Gunners are currently leading the race for the Portuguese International .
Moutinho, after his signature in 2013 from Porto has played 68 matches for the French club and scored 5 goals. Moutinho though, wasn’t very happy with Monaco after the departure of James Rodriguez to Madrid and the loan move of Radamel Falcao to Chelsea.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, is all set to part ways with Mathieu Flamini and is looking for a better replacement.
The 28-year-old was also on Chelsea and United’s radar, but Arsenal seem to pip both the rivals for the signature of this midfield ace.
Porto and Zenit St.Petersburg, his previous clubs have also eyed for his return, but Moutinho is more keen on a move to England.
Arsenal played against him when they were eliminated by Monaco in the last 16 of the Champions League last season, wherein he put on a great show in the midfield with his crisp passing movement and high pressure game.
