Riot Games has almost pitched Valorant as the alternative to the hugely popular tactical shooter, Counter Strike Global Offensive. While the two share some similarities, they’re still quite different. And yet, for some reason, the new shooter has really stuck with many CS: GO aficionados. Be it former professional CS: GO players or popular content creators, Valorant is the apple of the eye for most right now. Many current professionals have already dropped their games to shift to the new title. And now, popular Twitch streamer summit1g has suggested he would consider trying his hand at it too.

Recently on his broadcasts, summit1g answered a viewer who asked him if he would consider turning pro for Valorant.

“I’m thinking my competitive side might just come out of me dude and depending on how difficult it is to get to Valorant. You know what I mean? Like, if it’s something that’s actually difficult and something I’m really going to have to work toward, I would be very intrigued.”

“But if it’s something that, where I get there pretty quickly, pretty easily, I might lose interest. I need it to mean something to me, you know what I’m saying? Like Top 500 Valorant, top 100, whatever the f*ck they wanna do, it needs to mean something. To me at least. For me to like wanna like bring out my competitive drive.”

Well said. If Valorant keeps enrapturing the interest of such a huge number of players, summit1g will surely have his wish of tough competition.
