Richard Williams has been key in Venus Williams’ life

Notably, a prominent figure in Venus Williams’ extensively decorated career has been her father, Richard Williams. Moreover, talking about the same in much more depth, her father’s biopic titled ‘King Richard’ is soon to hit the theaters. Reflecting on the movie, Venus stated, “My dad is not only an inspiration on the courts – but off the courts as well. The King Richard film felt like the perfect time to give my fathers iconic 80’s style a modernized twist – so we did just that with this drop. #kingrichard.”

To honor her father, Venus has donned an iconic 1980’s styled outfit with a tinge of modernization. The vintage outfit looks both different and great at the same time and seems like a unique but worthy way to honor her father’s legacy.

When will Venus return?

Coming to tennis, Venus has not had the best of seasons this year. She lost in the second round of the Australian Open and exited in the French Open as well as the Wimbledon Championships in the early stages as well. Sadly, Williams did not compete at the US Open either because of an injury.
