Naomi Osaka had an outstanding look at the opening ceremony

However, her look at the ceremony was another talking point. She braided her hair with the Japanese flag color, comprising of red and white. The Japanese athlete later thanked her hairstylist for doing an amazing job. She stated, “The magic behind these braids. My hair fairy godmother.”

Coming onto tennis, Naomi will be playing her opening round match against China’s Saisai Zheng tomorrow. However, she has decided to only concentrate on singles and no other categories.

In the past few months, the Japanese star has gone through ups and downs. After winning the Australian Open, her form has dipped since the season shifted on the clay courts. She decided to boycott press conferences at the French Open, which wasn’t received well by fans and people from the tennis circuit.

Her appearance tomorrow will be her first competitive match since she withdrew from the French Open. We wish her all the best for the upcoming games and for the rest of the season.
