She said, “I was born in Russia, my parents wanted to move to the US to give me the American dream. I moved when I was a baby so I don’t remember much about Russia.” However, she did say she had videos of her making a snowman when she was young. When things took off, she stayed at home and I travel with my dad everywhere.” She was then asked about the toll it takes on her mom. Sofia said that her mom misses her and misses her more than her dad but she’s just happy for her supports her in her endeavor. She also said that she and her dad are a team and that she has a great relationship with him. After her amazing start to 2020, I am sure Sofia Kenin’s parents will be very proud of her. However, they will be upset that their daughter couldn’t continue due to the coronavirus which suspended the WTA Tour. After the coronavirus is contained, The WTA tour will resume. We can expect Sofia Kenin to win some more titles and her parents always supporting her.
