2-time champion Rafael Nadal will come into the All-England club this year with his lowest ever seeding courtesy of his first round of Queen’s Club last week.
Rafa Nadal is seeded No 10 after his traumatic season.
Nadal’s previous lowest seeding at Wimbledon was No. 5 in 2013. Other than that, he’s always been among the four, except when he was unseeded in his first appearance at Wimbledon in 2003.
After a disappointing loss at Roland Garros to Novak Djokovic, the injury plagued Spaniard surely will look to make amends and resurrect his calendar year with a promising show at The Championships.
The seeding means Nadal could face top contenders as early as the fourth round, and one of the top four seeded players in the quarterfinals.
The Spaniard is scheduled to meet a player seed 5-8 in the fourth round – Kei Nishikori, Tomas Berdych, Raonic or Ferrer.
