Japanese major fashion company COMME des GARCONS has collaborated with Nike to release their new sneakers. US Open 2020 winner Naomi Osaka endorses the company and she will be the first one to use the new product. Osaka’s signatures are also present on the lateral sides of the shoes with a message-‘Home is where the heart is’.

The image reveals that the shoe contains a white base with grey-colored panels. Nike’s presence is also evident as the shoes have white leather heel tabs- a typical characteristic of the company.

The shoes also have the sole of white solid rubber and a herringbone pattern, making them resistant and long-lasting. Although no price has been revealed yet, sources reveal that they will be out for sale in November this year.

Founded by renowned fashion designer Rei Kawakuba in 1973, COMME des GARCONS is one of the biggest fashion labels in the world today. It has not limited itself just to Japan but expanded to numerous cities like Melbourne and New York.

Apart from fashion, the company also makes and sells jewelry and perfumes. As far as tennis is concerned, they provide athletes with different kinds of shoes.

Naomi Osaka played her last professional match at the US Open finals against Victoria Azarenka. The World No.3 won her third Grand Slam title back then, at the age of just 22. She could not play at the French Open 2020 after she caught a hamstring injury and maybe won’t play for the remaining part of the year.

After getting eliminated from the Australian Open 2020 by Coco Gauff in the third round, she came up quite strong at the Cincinnati Masters 2020. She managed to reach the finals of the tournament but could not play the finals due to an injury. Then came the US Open 2020, where she defeated Azarenka despite losing the first set.

Fans are desperately waiting for Osaka to return to the court. They hope that the World No.3 would recover soon and be fit once again. It is likely that they will see her at the upcoming Australian Open 2020 where she would be looking to win her fourth Grand Slam title.
