Recently, Osaka did a Q&A session on Instagram and answered a host of interesting questions posed by her fans. As Osaka entered the court rocking a pair of gold-accented sneakers, many sneakerheads were drawn to her feet. One fan asked Osaka whether she was planning to launch another signature pair of sneakers of her own. The fan also wrote about being unable to buy the first pair.

Designed by Nike, Naomi Osaka x NikeCourt Air Zoom GP Turbos feature gold-colored heels, with her name printed on them in Japanese characters. The sneakers have a doodle of Maneki-Neko behind the famous swoosh sign.

The 3-time Grand Slam champion answered the fan’s question by saying the shoes were only available for sale in her home country. Funnily enough, Osaka expressed her desire for coming up with a non-tennis signature shoe of her own in the future if Nike still liked her then.

“I don’t know if these tennis shoes count, they’re on Nike JPN. But if you’re talking non tennis shoes-maybe in the future if Nike still likes me LOL,” wrote Osaka in her reply.
