Dale Jr. said, “I used to. He was a good guy, he was fun, he was good. He was hard to beat.”
“I know a lot of people recognize Jeff. He was kind of mainstream. He was in New York, LA, and a pretty recognizable name. My dad was a big deal and that kind of got me too. I love that Mike Tyson knows his nickname.”

What next for Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jeff Gordon?
When Dale Jr appeared on Mike Tyson’s podcast, he had already semi-retired from the NASCAR Cup Series. As for Jeff Gordon, the 4-time Cup Series champion hung up his boots at the end of the 2016 season. He then walked away with an impressive 93 wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, and five in the Xfinity Series, just two short of a century.
As for Dale Earnhardt Jr, he only has 26 Cup Series wins, but more than made up for it with 24 Xfinity Series wins. In other words, he has amassed 50 wins in his entire NASCAR career. The best part is that he is still racing to this day, with one-off appearances in the Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports.

However, the wins seem to have dried up, with his last win in the Xfinity Arena coming in 2016. Instead, he is focused on running his JR Motorsports team. Meanwhile, Jeff Gordon has bigger fish to fry, running the Hendrick Motorsports Cup team as its Vice Chairman. Without a doubt, both drivers are legendary in their own way
