Speculated to be slow and tedious, NASCAR’s week off has been as exciting as any race day. While Legacy Motor Club revealed a new paint scheme for Jimmie Johnson’s Chicago Street Course #10 car earlier this week, Kaulig Racing Team enthralled the NASCAR world, announcing Justin Marks as their next driver for The Loop 121 Xfinity Series race. Now, 23XI Racing has one-upped their fellow teams, revealing a massive musical collab for their #45 Toyota Camry.

Co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, the 23XI Racing team in a press release revealed its partnership with country music singer and songwriter, Garth Brooks for the Ally 400.

Garth Brooks Join Hands With Michael Jordan’s Team

NASCAR and music have always gone hand in hand, and what better way to celebrate than two American icons coming together? Garth Brooks recently launched his first station, The BIG 615, exclusively on TuneIn’s SEVENS Radio Network. Following the launch, the $400 million worth country music legend has teamed up with 23XI Racing as a co-primary sponsor alongside MoneyLion for Tyler Reddick’s #45 Toyota.

Speaking during the press release, Tyler Reddick was stoked by the partnership. Reddick said, “Racing back in Nashville has been great for our sport and fans, and I can’t think of a more iconic artist to feature on the No. 45 car. It’s a real honor for me and I hope we can put on a good show for Garth and all the fans.” Garth Brooks too couldn’t contain his excitement revealing, “Hell, we just have our logo on the car and I feel like I’m driving the car myself! This is exciting!”

Revealing the new scheme for Tyler Reddick’s car in a digitally rendered video, the 23XI Racing team announced its new partners for the race in Nashville. Plastered on the bonnet and sides of #45, The BIG 615 logo will be black and white, with the outline of Tennessee as the backdrop. With Nashville being the ‘Country Music Capital’ of the world, there couldn’t be a better way to highlight Garth Brooks’s newly launched The BIG 615.

This isn’t Garth Brooks’ first rodeo with NASCAR. The music legend was a part of NASCAR’s Day Campaign back in 2008, helping raise money for various charities. While the partnership announcement has brought much joy to the NASCAR world, Garth Brooks was recently embroiled in a controversy involving Bud Light.

What is Garth Brooks’s Bud Light controversy?

The Anheuser-Busch-owned Bud Light company has been facing backlash for its collaboration with trans influencer and TikTok star, Dylan Mulvaney back in April. Garth Brooks announced in the past month the grand opening of his new bar ‘Friends in Low Places’. Revealing the bar would be open to everyone and all varieties of beer will be served, including Bud Light, Garth faced backlash from anti-trans activists.

Responding to the controversial announcement and backlash, the music legend doubled down on his decision to serve Bud Light at his accommodation. While fake articles of Garth Brooks canceling the bar’s opening did rounds of social media, Garth himself cleared the air.

Speaking on his live stream ‘Inside Studio G’, Brooks said, “So, here’s the deal, man, if you want to come to Friends in Low Places, come in. But come in with love, come in with tolerance, patience. Come in with an open mind, and it’s cool.

“And if you’re one of those people that just can’t do that, I get it,” Brooks added. “If you ever are one of those people that want to try, come.”
