Veteran driver Denny expressed his joy when his new driver managed to hold his ground in the Circuit of The Americas and eventually emerged victorious despite the bumpy and eventful race.

Furthermore, speaking to a local news channel based in Charlotte, Denny voiced how he felt seeing the youngster “pull through” the “chaos”.

The last race in Austin saw an underdog climb up the ranks as the 23Xl Racing driver claimed his first victory of the season. And, this win has earned him quite the praise from Denny, and the community.

While speaking to Ashley Stroehlein, Denny said, “it was very encouraging to see the #45 on top of the pylon for most of the most of the day.”

“But then all the chaos at the end, you’re just hoping that he can pull through but really happy for him and now all of our full-time drivers have gotten a win in our team.”

With these comments, Denny, who managed a 16th spot in the race, praised the speedster for his perseverance and highlighted the milestone his team achieved that day.

Moreover, after a fierce battle with Alex Bowman and William Byron, Tyler had his next war with the ‘bad boy’ himself! Kyle Busch came in a close second fending off attacks from Bowman. Tyler, other than these intense battles, even overcame a tight triple overtime to clinch the victory in an exciting fashion.

WATCH THIS STORY: Denny Hamlin exposes the malicious Kyle Larson incident after his NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace had run through Larson earlier in the day. 

Eventually, Tyler managed to outpace Kyle in the race and cruised to an awesome win in yet another exciting race. Fans definitely had fun even though some hardcore fans were skeptical about the road course.
