The stage was almost set for Bubba Wallace as he looked to secure another win at the iconic Talladega Superspeed-way. But instead of things ending with him cruising to victory, they took a turn for the worse as the 23Xl Racing driver crashed in the final laps of the race. With his team boss Michael Jordan closely watching the action from the box, Wallace failed to capitalize on the golden opportunity as he blocked a furious #12 driver breathing down his neck, a move that later cost him the race.

Seeing the 23XI Racing co-owner disappointed, fans did not let this slide as they quickly pounced on the #23 driver, even urging Jordan to bring in a much better driver.

Disappointed fans turn on Bubba Wallace as he fails to secure the win at Talladega

With Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney leading the pack, the battle at the front was getting heated. Unfortunately for the #23 driver, things went horribly wrong, as his late block proved to be too costly! To his credit, Wallace, who is known for doing well on superspeedways, was cruising comfortably, fending off attacks from the#12 until he lost control.

While the team boss was in the pits, closely monitoring the final laps, hoping his driver to come home victorious, Wallace disappointed him along with his fans. Wallace denied the incoming #12 any space to overtake, blocking him on two occasions, once when Blaney tried to squeeze in from the inside, and later, when the latter sealed the deal for the 29-year-old driver after which he crashed.

Seeing this, angered fans went on a social media rampage, bashing the driver and even urging the boss to take action!

Even though the Team Penske driver managed to hold his position, his frustrations grew as the race neared its closing laps.

Soon, Bubba Wallace tried the old trick again in the final laps, but this time, Blaney had seen enough of it and rear-ended the #23, ending his promising run! With him out of the contest over a rather petty move, fans really criticized Wallace.

The race saw a dramatic finish offering a quick change in the plot. With Wallace out of the contest, Blaney planned to cash in the opportunity but surprisingly, Kyle Busch who was patiently waiting in the shadows, suddenly exploded onto the scene to snatch away the win at the last minute.
