If Bubba Wallace decides to take the career trajectory, at least in terms of decisions, as his 23XI Racing boss, Michael Jordan, one thing is clear, he is not giving Bobsled in Olympics a go when it comes to taking a shot at a different sport as Jordan did with baseball.

The thing is, Wallace did give Bobsled a go in Park City’s Olympic Facilities in an event organized by Toyota racing.
And naturally, he wasn’t able to do it well.

“My pride was shattered after that first one,” he said. “I had to go back and get it. And that’s what I did on that second one.” The NASCAR driver described that he knew he wouldn’t be able to compete in moguls and bobsled.
“Would we all like to try like hell and attempt it? That’s all we can really do,” he added.

Bubba Wallace on why NASCAR is just as tough a sport as any, if not tougher
In an interview on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast show, Bubba Wallace mentioned the mental strength and capabilities it takes to take part in a stock car race competitively.
“You got to have to get beat around but not losing your cool. Getting knocked around a couple of times and get back up,” he said. “You got to be able to do that, but over four hours,” he added.

Wallace emphasized that unlike sports like NFL and NBA, they don’t get timeouts in NASCAR.

“It’s a lot, to be a racecar driver,” Wallace said in another interview with CBS after the release of his Netflix docu-series. “We didn’t really hold back on anything.”
“I wanted to show you how mentally, physically, emotionally, everything, draining that the sport is and what it takes to be successful.”
