Back in February 2022, a solid partnership kicked off between MoneyLion and 23XI Racing, and it’s still holding up pretty well. Just the other day, over at Dirty Mo Media, Bubba Wallace and his right-hand man, Freddie Kraft, spilled the beans on their ride’s fresh coat of paint, saying it’s a real head-turner flaunting an eye-catching teal color. The duo also unfurled their excitement about the new paint scheme.

Bubba Wallace and his crew are all revved up to take the teal dream for a spin. The last time these two joined forces, their ride was decked out in a darker shade of the same color with a black rear. But this go-around, when Bubba and his wingman Freddie Kraft laid eyes on it, Freddie couldn’t help but blurt out, “It’s all teal. […] That was sick.” And Bubba? He was floored. “Damn! That thing looks just clean,” the driver said.

The firm behind the paint scheme, MoneyLion is at the forefront of fintech, crafting the next wave of tailor-made financial solutions and content. They’re all about empowering folks to make savvy financial choices with their top-tier consumer finance app, a leading embedded finance platform for businesses, and a top-notch media division.

Back in August 2023, MoneyLion Inc. linked arms with Bubba Wallace and his charity, The Live to Be Different Foundation, along with 23XI Racing, to kick off a back-to-school drive. They donated backpacks and school gear to the Boys & Girls Club in Statesville, North Carolina. Plus, MoneyLion also rolled out a back-to-school campaign aimed at lending a hand to teachers, parents, and kids through September.

Not stopping there, in November 2023, the company joined forces again with 23XI Racing, Bubba’s Foundation, and Tyler Reddick to dish out Thanksgiving meal boxes to several organizations and hundreds of families around Charlotte, N.C. Among the lucky recipients were the Cooperative Christian Ministry, the Boys & Girls Club in Concord, and the KIPP Academy School and Renaissance West Community Initiative in Charlotte, where Bubba himself made a special guest appearance to distribute meals.

Sporting a teal ride might just be the lucky charm they need, especially after Bubba snagged a top-five finish at the Daytona 500. He even cracked a joke about the chaos on the track that day.

#23 jokes about the Daytona 500 race’s ‘big one’

During the beginning of the race, Wallace was juggling between P3 and P4, eventually ended up at P8 in the first stage and followed it up with a seventh-place finish in the second stage. However, during the final rounds of the green flag stops, the #23 wasn’t fully done with fuel and had moved out of the pack and hit the pit road to refuel.

However, like a blessing in disguise, the strategy mishap actually helped Bubba Wallace avoid ‘The Big One’ with nine laps to go for the checkered flag. His teammate Tyler Reddick was also taken out in the wreck fest and ended up finishing P29. Bubba, on the other hand, churned out a cool P5.

Wallace while talking about how he worked his way through the chaos unscathed, emerging without a scratch on his #23, said: “They wrecked? My car says otherwise, I don’t have a scratch. Maybe one (scratch)? It was an interesting race that was. I thought the big wreck would happen, like 30 laps sooner.”

While Wallace had luck in his favor this time, the driver, very well, knows that it doesn’t take much for a day to turn out unlucky. His eyes will definitely be on avoiding mishaps and ultimately clinching the ultimate prize this season.
