In the wake of Bubba Wallace winning his first NASCAR Cup race, 23XI Racing has some big plans. Recently, the outfit teamed up with Fanatics to release exciting new fan gear. Notably, the retail company is releasing customized merchandise, commemorating Wallace’s historic win.

This includes jackets, T-shirts, caps, and even die-cast cars. Without a doubt, the sponsors will be on top of the world after this win. This is because the African-American driver’s value is likely to skyrocket after his triumph. Admittedly, he won in a fairly anticlimactic manner, because the race was stopped while he was leading. However, after a fairly long wait due to poor weather, he was declared the winner.

Nevertheless, no matter how it came, it still counted as a win in his book. With this, he will definitely head into the next race, riding high on confidence. Not to forget, Bubba Wallace is still young, and he has a long and hopefully successful career ahead of him. Next year, he will be back in the 23XI Racing machine and driving in the #23 car.

What lies in the future for Bubba Wallace and 23XI Racing?

To no surprise, the African-American driver is being retained for 2022. However, the 23XI Racing team is recruiting Kurt Busch to be his partner in the coming season. The outfit latched onto the 2004 Cup Series champion on the back of news that Chip Ganassi Racing will cease its NASCAR operations.

For the moment, Bubba Wallace and 23XI Racing will want to see out the remainder of the 2021 Cup Series season. Undoubtedly, Wallace would have been hoping that his win would propel him up the order, away from 21st place. On the bright side, if he does manage to turn in excellent and consistent performances, that dream could start turning into a reality.
