Dale Earnhardt Jr’s Dirty Mo Media has been one of the most successful brands for an athlete after their retirement. However, even after becoming a household name, one may still wonder where did the name “Dirty Mo” come from? Last year Junior revealed how the name for his vast multi-media empire was conceived.

Junior said, “We’d call ourselves the Dirty Mo posses. So Mooresville is the town that we are all from and that’s what we called Moorseville in high school. Everybody in high school called it Dirty Mo. You know that was the nickname for it and that’s why Dirty Mo Media right?… that’s where all that came from. I even got branded with a DMP…”

Junior was then asked to show where he got branded, but he declined to do so and everyone continued laughing. Earnhardt Jr is currently valued at approximately $300 million. Of course not all of it came from his racing career, some of it also comes out of his extensive media empire.

‘Dirty Mo Media’ currently runs four podcasts with plans to grow further. The current line of podcasts includes ‘Dale Jr Download’, ‘Door Bumper Clear’, ‘Speed Street with Connor Daly and Joey Mulinaro’, ‘The Next Level Podcast’, ‘Glorious Racing Stories’, and ‘The Burton Continuum’.

The company also holds multiple YouTube channels for its podcasts. He also runs a Dirty Mo Media store which sells merch related to all the podcasts and his Xfinity Series team, JR Motorsports.

Dale Earnhardt Jr also owns his very own Xfinity team

JR Motorsports have spent around  20 seasons in the sport and have also witnessed various glory days in its time.

The team secured three Xfinity Championships in its time namely the 2014, 2017, and 2018 seasons. The team also continues to add multiple records to their name.

Junior has mentioned how he usually prefers to save his money and continually add to his net worth. Now with rumors surrounding JR Motorsport’s planned venture into the NASCAR Cup Series in the near future, it certainly would be great to see another era of an Earnhardt team in the main series.
