Admittedly, he is not competing in the full six-race calendar. Instead, he will run at the Five Flags Speedway and at the Stafford Motor Speedway. What about Chase Elliott?

Admittedly, the Hendrick Motorsports driver has not confirmed whether he will participate this year. Considering that the series kicks off in mid-June, there is still time for him to throw his hat in the ring. However, the 2022 Cup Series championship leader will most likely be focusing on his campaign in the NASCAR field.

Of course, considering that William Byron is the first driver to rack up two wins, it will put Elliott under pressure. The only ray of hope is that the season is long and there is plenty of time for him to get the monkey off his back.

Obviously, he will not have it easy, and will most likely have to fight for victory. Chase Elliott could wait for a road course race, since he is an expert at them, or he could be a little bit impatient and just go for a win.
