Bowman talks about his dog ‘Finn’ getting to eat as much as he wants when he is starving for days. It is well known that he is a big dog lover and regularly posts about his dogs on Twitter.

He said, “Hour 24 of a 60 hour fast. About to eat my hand. Finn thinks I need to feed him little does he know he’s doing it with me.”, “sarcasm in Finn not eating. The dog has eaten more in the last 24 hours than I have in the last week.”

Alex Bowman over the years

Currently, he competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE for Hendrick Motorsports. Alex Bowman replaced Dale Earnhardt Jr in the number 88 car for Hendricks Motors after his retirement. He is in his second season and many people argue that he has not been performing to the level of number 88.

Bowman began his professional racing on short tracks in Arizona and California in 2000 at seven years old. After moving around multiple regional series Bowman made his debut at the national level of NASCAR battle in 2012. He was driving for Turner Motorsports in the Nationwide Series. After just a few years he started sampling cars for the cup series.
