Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is set to continue his run with Hendrick Motorsports through 2026. On Friday morning, Larson signed a 3-year contract extension with Hendrick Motorsports. And not only that, the #5 Chevrolet driver will carry on with HendrickCars.com as his primary sponsor.

In the recent press release, Larson said, “I can’t explain how much this opportunity means. The chance to compete for the top team and best sponsors in racing is something every driver dreams about. I’m humbled to have incredible people in my corner and amazing support from so many fans.”

Rick Hendrick, the owner of Hendrick Motorsports and chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group, said, “When Kyle joined our team, the expectations were sky high from both inside and outside the organization. To say he’s exceeded them would be an understatement,

Not only has Kyle proven himself as a champion driver, he’s performed at a championship level outside of the race car. We’re proud to continue our relationship and to see him represent our team and our brands in such positive ways. The years to come are very bright.” Hendrick added.

This announcement led to a series of speculation about the sponsorship deal of the #5 driver of Hendrick Motorsports.

Kyle Larson is still with HendrickCars

The #5 driver’s first championship victory came in 2021 when HMS signed him after his 2020 suspension. Since then, the 30-year-old proved to be profitable for Hendrick’s team by winning 10 races and the Cup Series title.

This led to concerns among fans about the old sponsorship deal with the #5 driver with Hendricks. However, NASCAR fans had the right justification on Twitter.

This talented Chevy Camaro driver is eyeing his second consecutive Cup Series win. The #5 driver is currently at P8 in the playoffs standing and is heading into an elimination playoff race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
