When the MotoGP Selection Committee decided not to renew RNF Racing’s contract, Justin Marks’s dream was shattered. The Trackhouse Racing owner’s group was heavily linked to news about buying the RNF team and making his entry into the world of motorbike racing. So when Valentino Rossi’s last team was shown the door by Moto GP, many believed it to be the end of Marks’s dream. However, it turns out that the 42-year-old will be a part of the competition from 2024.

In an attempt to further its ambitious aspirations into the world of motorsport, the Trackhouse Entertainment Group purchased one of the 11 grid spots in MotoGP and will field a team starting from the 2024 season itself. The spot was formerly occupied by the CryptoData RNF MotoGP Team, who were recently ousted by Moto GP.

In a recent video released by Moto GP, Justin Marks spoke about how it was always his dream to build something much more than a NASCAR team when Trackhouse Racing was founded three years ago. The 42-year-old also revealed that he planned to create something that was globally relevant in the world of motorsports but with an American vibe.

“It’s just an amazing moment for sure and you know when Trackhouse was started, it was always going to be more than just a NASCAR team. We wanted to create something really special in motorsports, something that was globally relevant that had an American vibe to it but had no borders. Had no borders on ideas, creativity and geographically so to be in this moment right now, it’s an incredible moment for our company getting to work with Dorna and Aprillia for next year,” Marks said.

The new Trackhouse Racing Moto GP team will operate from in Noale, Italy, and will have an alliance with motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia and the Piaggio Group. The two racers driving for Justin Marks in the world’s premier motorbike racing competition will be Raul Fernandez and Miguel Oliveira.
