Following all the hate Toyota received after Kyle Busch left JGR for Chevrolet-powered RCR, the Japanese manufacturer has hit back by winning the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series Manufacturers Championship. Seems like the perfect comeback for them, goes on to show their total dominance in the Truck Series.

Considering that while Busch was with TRD, his truck team was also powered by Toyota trucks. This might seem like intimidation to KBM since now they will most likely shift to Chevrolet Trucks. The team’s Twitter account stated, “#Tundra! 12 wins and counting! Toyota wins the 2022 @NASCAR_Trucks Manufacturer’s Championship. #TeamToyota.”

This marks their 13th manufacturer’s championship win in the 19 seasons of their existence in the Truck Series. Looking closely, that makes it a stunning 8 times in the last 10 years alone. Later a representative of the company stated, “It has been another exceptional season for our Truck Series organizations.”

The representative went on to thank all Toyota-powered teams that excelled this season and also stated that they were looking forward to claiming the driver’s championship at Phoenix later this year.

NASCAR Fans appreciate Toyota winning the Truck Series Manufacturers Championship

Fans had previously heavily criticized Toyota for losing out when Kyle Busch announced his departure from JGR and TRD after 15 years of being together, many had thought that TRD would not be able to recover from their losses. Meanwhile, that speculation was shattered after they picked up yet another victory securing the manufacturer’s championship run for themselves.
