Back in January 2023, Logan Misuraca accelerated her engines at Daytona and Talladega, taking the #63 Spraker Racing car for a spin with CELSIUS Essential Energy cheering her on from the sidelines. At that time, CELSIUS stepped in as the big-time sponsor for Misuraca’s wheels. CELSIUS, the energy drink brand that’s been shaking things up in the racing world, was all in on backing Misuraca. But, apparently, according to her latest Instagram update, there’s been a bit of a shakeup. Looks like CELSIUS has switched lanes to back Toni Breidinger, leaving Misuraca on the lookout for a new sponsor to ride shotgun with her.

Toni Breidinger’s recent sponsorship coup has thrown Logan Misuraca’s racing aspirations and finances into a tailspin

So, on February 1, 2024, TRICON Garage dropped some pretty big news. Toni Breidinger is going to be behind the wheel of the #1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro at the Daytona kick-off for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, with CELSIUS being her main sponsor. Now, this was a bit of a gut punch for Misuraca, who suddenly found herself without a sponsor right as the ARCA season was gearing up. Misuraca took to Instagram to air out her frustrations, pretty bummed out about CELSIUS deciding to back Breidinger instead, which threw a wrench in her plans both money-wise and on the track.

Misuraca’s post read, “I’d like to address the recent disappointing and unexpected press release of Celsius leaving my team to partner with a different driver in the Truck Series. First, I’d like to say thank you to Celsius for the opportunity of a lifetime. It was a true pleasure representing your brand. While it’s a devastating blow to both my finances as well as my racing career, I will use this to fuel my fire and continue pursuing my lifelong dream.”

She further continued, “I’m dedicated to developing new partnerships with brands who appreciate my core values and work ethic. This is just a small bump in the road. I will stick to my morals and conduct myself with integrity. If you’re with me, let’s enjoy this journey and build my career together. As always, I love my fans and support network. If you have any sponsor leads or ideas, please send them to egolf.leeann@gmail.com. We’re brainstorming this comeback together!”

Growing up in a family that lives and breathes racing, Misuraca was pretty much destined to be on the track. She was already getting behind the wheel at four years old. If CELSIUS had stuck around, she’d be gearing up for another go at Daytona, a track where she’s not just another face in the crowd — she’s logged over 22,000 miles there, thanks to the NASCAR Racing Experience.

But Misuraca isn’t just about the big-time races. She’s also left her mark down in the grassroots scene. Back in 2020, she snagged the Rookie of the Year title at New Smyrna Speedway and even nailed a solid spot in the Pro Late Model Division standings.

However, making it in NASCAR isn’t just about how well drivers can handle the turns; it’s also about having the cash to keep their car on the track. Despite knocking on every door and sending out countless pitches for sponsorships, it was mostly a bunch of “thanks, but no thanks,” for her until CELSIUS came along… and then decided to bail.

On the flip side, Breidinger’s looking at a pretty sweet setup for the season, with spots in both the ARCA Menards and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Toni Breidinger is going to have a busy season, juggling duties in both the full-time ARCA Menards Series with Venturini Motorsports and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where she’ll be behind the wheel of the #1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage.

This year, CELSIUS, known for its healthier energy drink alternatives, is teaming up with Breidinger as the main sponsor for her run in the Fresh from Florida 250. Breidinger, who couldn’t be happier, said, “CELSIUS has been my go-to source for pre-race energy for years. I’m grateful for CELSIUS’ long-term commitment to motorsports and for being an essential part of my 2024 race season.”

CELSIUS will continue to support her as an associate sponsor throughout the season’s remaining 19 races apart from Daytona.
