Danica Patrick has always been the vocal one. When she was active as a racecar driver in NASCAR, she was always at the forefront of several issues. But even in her retirement, she is still the outspoken person she is.

And being outspoken doesn’t always mean retaliation or rebellion. Sometimes it also means humility and being vulnerable, something she recently proved once again through an Instagram note.

In another recent Instagram post, the Daytona 500 pole sitter shared her journey and struggles with a variety of medical problems that stemmed from her undergoing breast implants.

Patrick revealed that in her medical tests, she was found to have symptoms and out of range for issues that range from hypothyroidism, heavy metal toxicity, dysbiosis, 10/10, severe leaky gut, hypoglycemic, low estrogen to face swelling, weight gain, capsular contracture (they were both folded from the amount of scar tissue), and hair loss.
