During the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Daytona road course, Kyle Busch endured a torrid time and crashed out. It is worth noting that he began to have problems early in the race, particularly with braking.

In the first stage, Busch locked up his tires twice and was forced to pit. Later on, he informed the team on the radio, “A little bit loose. Like I’m having to correct it in the center of the corner.”

Apparently, the situation got so dire that he had to pull into the pits again. The team suspected that Busch’s car developed a mechanical issue. Fortunately, he was able to come back out again after sorting the issue and continue, unabashed.

Things went from bad to worse for Kyle Busch

With six laps left on the board, Kyle Busch lost control of his car and crashed out on the back straight. His performance was hugely disappointing, especially since he started fourth.

Busch picked up the flat spot after some unsuccessful attempts to out-brake Denny Hamlin for the lead. This dropped him well down the order, due to the expected pit stop to get rid of the waste tyre.

Luckily, he was able to claw his way back to 12th by the end of stage 1. Things began to unravel when he spun on Lap 25 while running in seventh. The incident took place at Turn 6 and dropped him to 13th, though he was able to continue.

Bad luck was not done messing with him yet, so with 17 laps to go he encountered more issues. At the time, he found himself in second place and chasing eventual race winner Chase Elliott.

As it turned out, he out-braked himself and missed the front-stretch chicane, so he dived straight into the pits. In his pit box, the No. 18 team discovered that the car harbored a brake rotor problem. Eventually, he returned to the track with 11 laps to go, but his race didn’t last long with the crash.
