The back end of 2021 has been difficult for Brad Keselowski and his family on a personal level. His father, Bob, passed away recently, and it hit the Keselowski family hard. Recently, the 2012 Cup Series champion was going through his late father’s belongings when he made a discovery.

Keselowski found a notebook that belonged to his father and it was blank. So, Brad Keselowski decided to ‘borrow’ it and began writing in it. His first entry was a message to his fans that read, “This notebook was found in my dad’s belongings before he passed – unused. As a tribute to him, I’m using it for my notes for 2022.”

In all honesty, this will be a fitting tribute to the late patriarch. Keselowski Sr obviously meant a lot to his sons and the rest of the family. It will also give the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver something to remember him by.

What else did Brad Keselowski write in the notebook?

The driver then turned to the next page and wrote out his New Year’s resolutions. To be precise, he wrote out his season goals for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, and they were fairly standard. First and foremost, he is targeting his first win for Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing.

Next on the list is winning the Daytona 500 or winning at home in Michigan. The third objective is to get himself and teammate Chris Buescher into the Playoffs. Beyond that, he is targeting a Top 5 finish in the Playoffs. Finally, his most important target is to make his late father proud. Without a doubt, that last one is extra special and Keselowski will try his hardest to fulfill that.
