It was announced earlier that along with a pre-race show by Pitbull, NASCAR will also hold a halftime show like Superbowl. But at that time, the name of the artist or performer wasn’t revealed, until now.

O’Shea Jackson Sr., better known as Ice Cube, will headline the halftime show at the Clash. Ice Cube is one of the most successful and pioneering figures in the American rap scene. A tweet from journalist Bob Pockrass reads, “Ice Cube is going to perform during the race break of the Clash at the LA Coliseum (there will be a break during the 150-lap main event).”

And it seems 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace is looking forward to the halftime show.

But it’s not just Wallace who is excited.

Why we haven’t seen Bubba Wallace in the recent testing?

As the next season comes closer, teams and drivers are taking part in an intense testing schedule to get up to speed with the Next Gen cars. While most of the drivers in NASCAR have so far appeared in testing, with the exception of those who are racing in their off-season like the Hendrick duo, one driver that hasn’t been seen in testing or racing is Bubba Wallace.

And the reason for this is that the Talladega winner is still recovering from a shoulder injury he had in November.

So it’s likely that the next time we see Bubba Wallace out on the track is during the Clash; at the halftime of which he’ll surely have a good time with Ice Cube rapping out some good old tunes.
