For Wallace, road courses have proven to be a formidable challenge, as evidenced by his 37th, 17th, 18th, and 12th finishes across four Road Courses. After six years of grappling with these circuits, Wallace finds a glimmer of hope in an unexpected ally ahead of his Daytona test. Reddick’s own Daytona victories include the 2015 Truck Series and the 2018 Xfinity for JR Motorsports.

During the post-race interview at Watkins Glen, Bob Pockrass posed a question regarding his teammate’s current situation. Reddick Reddick replied, “It’s definitely stressful you know I always try to do everything I can to have our obvious prepped in as good as it can be for the Road Courses and you know that doesn’t apply to me that applies to you know where they start and where they bring the racetrack “

Peering into the future, Reddick unveils their strategic blueprints, “The pressure is certainly on as we prepare for this weekend trying to make sure we‘re getting the most out of our set up and our cars as close as it can be to react you know what we need we are here in reality so yeah that’s definitely difficult thing but you know if it comes out to it I’ve done it before and I‘ll do it again to help my teammate if it comes down to it.”

Beyond Bubba Wallace’s struggles on road courses, Tyler Reddick introduces a tantalizing shift in perspective during the same interview. A shift that hints at a potential game-changer for their upcoming Daytona race, leaving the stage set for an intriguing twist in the tale

During the same interview, Reddick delved into the team’s journey through the standings, recounting a sudden shift in their trajectory from fifth and sixth place. In light of this, he expounds on their strategic perspective for the upcoming Daytona race.

Reflecting on the team’s strategy, Tyler said, “Just avoid you know having a catastrophic week day at Daytona (…)I think we’re strong enough, at the Road Courses to say goodbye to that and then we go to Daytona we just need to survive to try and win the race anyways but you know it would definitely be nice to get back kind of in that points standing where we probably should have been.”
