What lies ahead for Bubba Wallace in the NASCAR Cup Series?

At the moment, there are five races remaining in the regular season, with two Playoff spots remaining. So, he will have to really buck up his performance if he wants to stand a chance of qualifying for the Playoffs. It is worth mentioning that the battle will be fierce, with several strong contenders, like Ryan Blaney, Kevin Harvick, and others. The likes of Blaney and Harvick are also yet to win a race and are pretty desperate.

Even if he does win one race, it may not be enough to guarantee his qualification. So two wins would suffice to be on the safe side, or he had better pray that there are repeat winners. Wallace must have been relieved when Chase Elliott was eventually handed the win if it wasn’t for Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch’s disqualification. This was because the trio is repeat winners, with Elliott racking up his fourth win of the season. In other words, there are still two Playoff spots remaining with five regular season races left.
