Away from life in the fast lane, Bubba Wallace made the best of NASCAR’s off week. As NASCAR trotted into its off week, Bubba Wallace and Amanda planned a trip to Hawaii. The couple enjoyed long hikes through the hilly terrains while keeping their fans updated on their escapade.

Unfortunately, while enjoying a harmonious vacation in nature’s lap, the couple fell victim to Hawaiian Law.

Bubba Wallace’s Wife Amanda Posts Regarding Their Run-In With the Law

Back from their vacation in Hawaii, the 23XI Racing driver revealed the reason for selecting to dive into nature in seclusion. Bubba Wallace posted four photos of his Hawaii escapade on Instagram. What stood out was the fourth pic in Bubba Wallace’s post, where he hilariously posed in front of a waterfall, pretending to drink it whole. While the photo, clicked by Amanda Wallace, was captivating, the signboard behind Bubba Wallace had an eerie warning.

It was then Amanda who posted a picture of herself striking the same pose as her husband on Instagram.

Her photo had the caption, “Went $200 in debt in Hawaii”. The caption was cryptic, but a closer look at Amanda’s picture revealed the deets.

The warning signboard in Bubba Wallace’s post wasn’t fully visible, but Amanda’s post revealed it enough to provide context. The supposed sign read, ‘Do Not Pass This Point, Fatalities Have Occurred’. Below, in small lettering, it was warned that violating the closure would attract a $100 fine. To make sense of Amanda’s cryptic caption, the couple ignored the warning sign and trespassed into dangerous territory that has been cordoned off for public safety. Hence, the couple was apparently billed a $200 fine for their risky venture.

The year has been demanding for Bubba. With his mind always occupied by racing, Wallace felt trapped in his own mind, needing some peace and quiet. Wallace wrote, “Self reflection…Really wanted to use this off period to relax and absolutely get away. This year has been the most demanding of them all. It’s what I signed up for, I accept it. I found it very hard to completely escape, my mind is programmed to think about work. How to get better, am I good enough, where can I improve, how can I treat my support team better to help me overall.

“You learn how to deal with new things each and every day. It’s called life. I’m committed to waking up every day and putting in the work to simply be a better human, hope you are too! A lot of work ahead both on and off the track this year, beyond ready to kick off the 2nd half with more passion and a more defined purpose! Let’s go to work!”

The 23XI Racing driver relayed that he is now back to attend the second half of NASCAR’s season with more passion and purpose. Bubba’s message to his fans even prompted a reply from his team co-owner, Denny Hamlin. Commenting on Wallace’s post, Hamlin wrote, “Fantastic message”.
