On Veterans Day, the entire country pays tribute to those who protected the security and integrity of the United States of America. So with NASCAR being, without a doubt, one of the biggest sports in the country, it’s no wonder drivers like Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and almost all the big stars took to social media to honor the brave ones.

Along with the #9 and #11 driver in the Cup Series, big names like Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, the 2022 Cup champion Joey Logano, Alex Bowman, and Michael Waltrip tweeted on this year’s Veteran Day.

23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace too honored the veterans, but unlike his peers, he chose to post a story on Instagram.

Chase Elliott is not focused on the next season yet

With a disappointing end to an otherwise incredible season, Chase Elliott recently spoke quite openly about his 2022 season as well what he thinks about the coming one.

“I don’t really care about 2023 right now. We had five wins on the season, and we had — you tell me what the stats are. That’s how you would assess it, right? I know we won five races,” the Hendrick Motorsports driver said. “That’s more than we did last year.”

The 2020 Cup Series champion described when they’ll get back to Daytona in a few months, they’ll be “ready to go” and completely focused on things that matter. But until then, Chase Elliott wants nothing to hear or do with the next season.
